Sale?  Did someone say sale?  Jewelry sale, those are the magic words to these ears.  Being holiday time, there are a ton of craft fairs and sales.  One of my favorite jewelry lines, Stubborn is having a holiday sale.  Melissa Stiles, owner and designer, combines resin with a variety of metals.  Resulting jewelry is colorful and whimsical.  Her jewelry enlivens any outfit.   Designs include jewelry (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings and cufflinks), sculpture, and ornaments.

She sells her work online and at a variety of Portland boutiques such as The Real Mother Goose, Tilde, and Redux.  From California to Virgina, stores carry the Stubborn Line.

Stubborn Holiday Studio Sale, is Friday December 16th 4PM – 8PM and                                                      Saturday   December 17th 11AM – 3PM.

Enjoy specialty cocktails while perusing new jewelry color combinations and expanded line of stainless steel work.

Also at the Stubborn Holiday sale is the Tasi Sisters jewelry collection.  Taya and Silvija Koschnick are sisters who design all the jewelry.  They use recycled materials when possible and recycle all their gold and silver scraps.  Gemstones and hand-patina pieces figure prominently in the designs.  Necklaces and earrings comprise the bulk of the collections.  Come and visit Silvija before she returns home to Ohio for a year.  She will be missed and I look forward to seeing how the Tasi line evolves with Taya at the helm.

Jenn Ferrante will also be at the Stubborn Holiday Sale selling her functional fused glass art.  She melds modern designs with joyful colors.
